Terms of Use.

Plain terms, written to be read. By using Location Hub, you agree to the points below. If anything isn't clear, write to us and we'll explain.

01Agreement

By creating an account or otherwise using Location Hub (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you're using the app on behalf of a team or organisation, you're confirming you're authorised to do so, and those terms apply to that team too.

02Using the app

You may use Location Hub to check in and check out, view your own logs, and — if you're an admin — review your team's activity. Please use the app lawfully and in good faith. Don't try to break it, abuse it, scrape it, impersonate another person, or log time on behalf of someone else without their permission.

03Your account

You're responsible for the account you sign in with — the email address, the password, or the Google account you use. Keep your credentials private. Let us know if you think someone else has accessed your account.

04Location (GPS)

Location Hub is a check-in app. To do its job, it needs to know where a check-in or check-out happened.

Important

When you press the check-in or check-out button, the app captures your device's GPS location at that moment and saves it with your log entry. This is required functionality — the app cannot verify a check-in without it. By using the app, you give your permission for this location data to be captured and stored for that purpose.

A few clarifications so there are no surprises:

  • Location is captured only at the moment you press check-in or check-out, not continuously in the background.
  • If you deny the location permission at the device level, the app may not be able to complete a check-in. In that case, you can re-enable the permission in your device settings.
  • Your location data is associated with your own log entries and is visible to admins of the team you belong to, in the same way a timesheet is.

05Your content

The logs you create belong to you (or to your team, depending on how your organisation is set up). We don't claim ownership of your data. We host it so the app can work, and we keep it accessible to you for as long as your account is active.

06Availability

We aim to keep Location Hub available and responsive, but we can't promise it will always be perfect. There may be moments of planned maintenance, slow connections, or unexpected downtime. The app is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind.

07Liability

To the extent allowed by local law, Green Spark Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app — for example, a payroll decision based on a log entry. The app is a tool; please treat the data as a record to be reviewed, not as a replacement for your own judgement.

08Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
